Hi, It has been a while since I wrote to you and I thought I would catch up on what I have been doing.  My old car was a 2005 BMW 745i and it had 98,600 miles on it.  I got a new VW Touareg SUV at the end of December.  We drove up to our cottage the first week in January for a couple of days and then drove to Florida for 2 weeks getting home about a week ago.  I now have overy 5000 miles on my new car.  I is a diesel and gets pretty good mileage.  I can’t remember if I told you that my younger son, Adam got engaged to be married last fall.  We are very pleased, his fiancé is very nice.  They area getting married in Mexico on Dec 4, of this year.  I have a medical meeting to attend in San Francisco, California at the end of February and we will be on the west coast for a week.  We have had a lot of snow this year, but not nearly so much as my brother who lives in Washington DC.  The Federal Government was closed for 3 day due to the record amount of snow.  I only  work part time.  I go in two days a week.  I was going to retire last spring but changed my mind since I still enjoy what I do.  I hope all is well with you and your family.  I’ll write again soon.  Your friend.  Steve
