Hello from Jamaica

Hello friends,
I am in Kingston, Jamaica now. My laptop wend kaput - that is, dead - in Dominican Republic several days ago. So I couldn't send any more trip reports.
Fortunately, my wife is arriving today in Jamaica with my backup laptop, so I will be able to use computer for photo-organizing and travel-story-writing again.
Today, we leave Kingston, a somewhat rough town with nothing much to see, for Montego Bay, where most foreign travellers go. Next flight to Havana, Cuba out of Jamaica is on Wednesday. So on Wednesday we fly to Cuba, the last island on my itinerary of this trip. In the mean time, we will enjoy the beach and sunsets of Montego Bay.
I will probably write again from Montego Bay, or from Havana, Cuba.
Hasta luego ("See you later" in Spanish).

가족과 합류하여 마음이 들 떠 컴이 기가질려 죽었지 .
새 컴퓨터 도착하면 보세.
헌 컴퓨터는 수리할건가?
kaputt; 이런 단어 미국에서도 사용하나, 영어가 아닌데. -

I am writing this, since your computer will not able to recognize Hangul.
I have never been to Central and Southern Americas, but Mexico.
Jamaica and Cuba remind me of a very relaxed atmosphere with their trophical weathers, excellent foods and Spanish legacies.
They have certain images mixed with sugar, cigars, Hemingway, Belafonte and Castro.
Enjoy your travels and send us some good images and information.
If it works, give me a call on your way to your daughter's in Utah.

어제 집사람이 옛날에 쓰던 랩탑을 가져와서 다시 한글을 할 수 있게 되었습니다.
굉호, 이번엔 LA에 못 들리고 솔트레이크시티로 직행하게 되었네.
다음에 좀 여유을 가지고 들리도록 하겠네.
서울에 오면 꼭 연락해주게나.
미국에서 "kaput"이란 말을 쓰는데 그게 아마 독일어 표현인가 보네. 고장난 컴퓨터는
2년 warranty이니 아마 무료로 고칠 수 있거나 새 것을 받을 수가 있겠지. -

"kaput"가 독일말로 망가졌다는 말인데 여기 저기서 쓰네요.
사모님과 함께 따뜻한 곳에서 즐거운 여행하세요. 계획을 멋지게 세우셨군요.
우리는 아틀란타쪽으로 돌아 칼리포니아에 오려는 비행기가 폭설로 캔슬되고
미네아폴리스로 돌아 가라고 해서 오히려 잘 됐다고 생각하고
보너스로 미네아폴리스 딸들에게 가서 손주들 보고 다음날 캘리포니아에 왔습니다.
